Employment: Full Time

Your responsibilities will include

• Assisting in maintaining the best practice standards, strategies, plans, processes, and tools developed for the client program for permits and consent management.
• Assisting the production of the delivery team's permitting plans, working with the client counterparts to ensure timely acquisition. Evaluating and consenting management plans and ensuring their effective implementation.
• Coordinating and collaborating with the delivery teams, in alignment with the client, to provide support for permitting matters. Tracking, assigning, and following up on actions related to permitting engagement.
• Providing technical consultation to the client and the delivery teams on strategic permits and consent management as needed.
• Assisting the client in engaging with key strategic stakeholders on permitting and consents matters.
• Working closely with the client regulatory entitlement and affairs (REA) team to facilitate communications with external stakeholders, including third-party advisers.
• Maintaining the permits and consent risk management plan and tracking mitigation plans and progress.
• Preparing the monthly permits and consents management update report at a city-wide level and escalating significant issues to the client leadership team when necessary.
• Monitoring performance of permits and consent plans, providing internal stakeholders with information to understand the processes, deliverables, key performance indicators (KPIs), issues, and concerns.
• Participating in and supporting quality improvement programs.
• Assisting in auditing projects to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and NQA-1 requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies related to the permitting/consent process.
• Keeping up to date with relevant technology related to permitting and consent functions.
• Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.

Requirements

About you

• You have a degree qualification in IT or engineering (or a related field) and proven years of related work experience, including significant managerial experience with a large group of discipline leads and technical support personnel. Professional registration with active professional membership, MBA, or related MSc degree is an advantage.
• Requires extensive knowledge of IT best practices, processes, and current technology trends.
• Working knowledge of ITIL and ISO quality management systems standards. Proficiency in analysing situations in business terms, i.e., ROI, cost per unit, etc.
• You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated, extended teams. You will have a construction or project management consultancy background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.
