Planning and Project Control Director

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planning and Project Control Director to join a tier 1 Consultancy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and leading the planning, scheduling, and project control activities across multiple major projects in the kingdom.

This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills to effectively manage clients, projects and resources.

We are looking for someone with previous experience on the Kingdoms giga projects, either currently in kingdom or looking to return.

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and project control within the construction industry, with a minimum of 8-10 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of project management tools and software, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other scheduling and control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret project data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

Salary:
SAR 80,000 to 120,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Leadership experience in managing and developing a team of project planners and schedulers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or other relevant certifications is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English is required
