Job description / Role
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive maintenance plans for motors and generators, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to prioritize and schedule maintenance work, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
- Monitor ongoing maintenance activities and costs, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
- Provide technical support to maintenance personnel and customers, ensuring timely resolution of issues and concerns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing and servicing capabilities, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Consult with management on operational issues, performance metrics, and strategic planning.
- Manage inventory levels and procurement processes to ensure adequate supply of parts and materials for maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in the continual improvement of maintenance practices and processes.
Requirements
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in maintenance planning within the factory industry, specializing in motors and generators.
- Strong technical expertise in motors and generators maintenance, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Proficiency in maintenance planning software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
