Job Purpose

This Position exists to perfrom project project planning and implementation activities efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Key Accountability Areas
- Perform to meet targeted utilization of resources
- Work to get the best efficiency - Planned to actual hours
- Work to reduce the cost per hour as per target
- Deliver to meet targeted average lead time for manufacturing
- Analyze and contribute to reduce the rework & rejections in the shop floor
- Update project plan
- Vendor development and follow-up
- Create purchase requests (SAP)
- Follw-up of purchase, logistics, and finance activity follow up
- Manage the work load for the shopfloor and vendors
- Make the process sheets for all new Press tools and Molds.
- Standardize of job-work parts and tooling elements
- Prepare and share monthly/yearly production reports
- Standardize job-work parts and tooling elements
- Provide delivery dates to the customer as per the shop floor capacity
- Ensure on time delivery & meet monthly / yearly targets
- Co-ordinate with design, production, maintenance & QC department.
- Attend design review / production review / planning meetings.
- Regular review of short falls and take corrective actions to improve the delivery commitments
- Involve in process improvements
- Control expenses
- KPI management of Capacity utilization of the Man & machines in the company

Requirements

Role Accountability
- Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
- Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
- Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.
- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
- Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

Work Experience
- 5 to 10 Years
