Portfolio Manager

Job description / Role

Role: Supervise junior members and Participate as a senior member of the Principal Investment team in all stages of investment activity with a focus on portfolio management, origination and transaction execution. He is also involved in post trade monitoring and investment risk assessment ..

Responsibilities:
- Assess investment opportunities and coordinate team members work in order to conduct deep analyses of companies
- Analyse a large and heterogeneous universe (multiple sectors/countries) and select compelling investment candidates
- Lead transaction execution from opportunity assessment, to position building, value extraction and exit. Prepare detailed presentations and action plans
- Develop and maintain relations with top management of companies and with leading market participants as well as industry players. Participate in board meetings and influence strategy and decisions
- Reporting and update senior management on progress on each transaction Participate as a senior member in portfolio monitoring, construction and reporting
- Trades execution and brokers monitoring
- Market coverage : follow news and events that might have an impact on a particular market or asset class. Quickly analyse them and their impact on holdings
- Supervise middle office duties
- Performing any other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor

Requirements

- Saudi National
- 3-9 years relevant experience in Investment Management / Asset Management of Local Equites.
- Degree, Ideally MBA and CFA
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
- Ability to manage and develop a Portfolio of Principal Investments
