Precast Installation Engineer

Job description / Role

Job Purpose

As a Precast Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the installation of precast elements on construction projects located throughout the country.

Key Accountability Areas
- Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop comprehensive installation plans, considering project specifications and requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of precast elements into the overall construction plan.

Site Inspections and Assessments:
- Conduct thorough site inspections to assess conditions and identify potential challenges related to precast installation.
- Collaborate with design teams to review plans and provide insights on the feasibility of precast implementation.

Quality Assurance:
- Implement and enforce strict quality control measures during the precast installation process.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead and manage installation crews, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency among the installation team.

Problem Solving:
- Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the precast installation process promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all precast installation activities.
- Generate regular progress reports for project managers and other stakeholders.

Requirements

Role Accountability
- Bachelor's degree or higher in civil engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in precast factories/companies.
- In-depth knowledge of precast installation techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Academic Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering

Work Experience
- 5 to 10 Years
