About the role

The Pre-Sales Consultant/Solution Expert is responsible for aiding the Sales department in selling Orange Cyberdefense solutions, centered on Orange Cyberdefense services and its portfolio, as well as assisting the Sales department in providing a technical and commercial overview Orange Cyberdefense offerings.

The Pre-Sales Consultant has a technical background with very strong business and commercial affinities and the focus is on promoting and positioning Orange Cyberdefense solutions and other technologies and/or services through telephone calls, conference calls, on-site visits to potential customers and existing customers. The Solution Specialist is a cornerstone in developing and answering technical Solution designs and technical descriptions for RFI's & RFP's, drafting cost sheets, and assists in closing deals with the Account Manager.

Role Responsibilities:
- Understand all Orange Cyberdefense service offerings and stay abreast of changes and enhancements
- Inform Account Managers of service offerings and changes
- Attend and arrange customer meetings
- Respond to tender, RFQ, RFP and RFI requirements
- Write proposals and scope of work
- Assist Account Managers in closing deals
- Facilitate the delivery of proof of concepts services and solutions
- Attend training sessions, both in-house, vendor specific and external
- Provide a monthly spread sheet detailing meeting attended, conference calls made, training days attended, proof of concepts delivered
Result: Extend professional and sustainable relationships with clients, distribution and vendor with eye on maximum sales figures.

Level of Education
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree or equal by experience
- Security industry recognised certification: CISSP, CISA/CISM, OSCP/OSCE, CEH, CREST certifications

Minimum Work Experience
- 7 years of experience in a comparable function

Job Context/Environment
- Office based but home working allowed
- Core working hours, although some flexibility will be required
- Travel to customers sites

Requirements

About you
- Demonstrable experience as a security engineer/consultant, preferably presales experience
- Extensive experience in the security industry
- Experience with Managed Security Services portfolios specifically Security Operations Centres as well as Cyber Security Operation Centres
- Experience with security consulting, including penetration testing
- Customer-facing experience with strong presentation skills
- Language Skills (at least 2 languages whereof minimal English)
- Experience in writing proposals and scopes, responding to tenders/RFQ/RFP/RFI
- Knowledge of SIEM technologies including Splunk and MS Sentinel
- Understanding of security technologies from at least 3 of the following vendors: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Symantec, Pulse Secure, Cisco, Zscaler
- Good understanding of TCP/IP networking and security fundamentals
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence, tenacity, creativity and flexibility in thinking
