Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are currently looking for an Utilco. Package Coordination Manager with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in Utilities/ Roads, Tunnels & Bridges and Car Parks projects to join our team in Saudi Arabia.

Role:
• Ensure sufficient communications take place within the team, conduct team meetings and direct actions
• Set budgets for individual disciplines and agree budget allocation with Design Manager / Design Team Leader prior to start of each design element
• Monitor the package expenditure against budgets, resources and expenses
• Monitor the package monthly forecast costs to completion and revenue
• Provide/facilitate progress information for billing purposes
• Ensure change control process is in place
• Input to Design Delivery Director on contractual issues
• Establish and monitor progress against the package programme
• Agree programme with Design Managers and Design Team Leaders including identification of key milestones
• Ensure project execution plan and QA procedures are prepared and in place at commencement of project
• Ensure quality and consistency of product
• Ensure the Project Procedures are maintained and developed

Requirements

• Degree qualified in civil engineering, preferably Chartered Engineer
• Member of a recognised professional institution
• Minimum of 15 years of postgraduate professional experience of which 5 will have been in a similar senior position within the consultancy/construction industry
• Present evidence of multi-disciplinary team management
• 5 years’ work experience either within the Middle East or on the design of Middle East projects
• Detailed knowledge of applicable international design standards across the disciplines
• Sound managerial and technical skill set
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
• Ability to liaise with a wide variety of staff and clients at all levels essential
• Be able to show Leadership skills
• Have excellent team building skills
• Fully conversant with the commercial aspects of project management
