Principal Instrumentation Engineer

Job description / Role

Client is urgently looking for a Principal Instrumentation Engineer in Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

The role will predominantly be working on GES+ projects for Saudi Aramco but also effectively be the Head of Department for the whole location with an oversight and management of all I&C engineering work throughout KSA and Bahrain.

Requirements

- Must have a BSc Engineering degree from a recognized western university and not by distance learning.
- Minimum 20 years post grad engineering design experience.
- Must be someone who has mostly done hands on detailed design work for EPC contractors rather than PMC or owners.
- Must have mostly onshore experience including refineries, gas plants etc. although a little offshore experience is actually a bonus.
- Must have previously been a Principal/Chief Engineer for a minimum of 3 years.
- Any experience with Saudi Aramco projects is a plus, as is any previous WP experience, but not a necessity.
