Specific accountabilities:
- Drafting of all process drawings including but not limited to PFD, UFD, P&ID's, Block flow diagrams, etc.
- Pre-bid drawing estimates.
- Site surveys and process drawing verification (as-building), Supervising, coordinating and training of process designers.
- Coordinating process drafting work by other designers.
- Ensuring drawing quality and maintaining quality records.
- Filing and maintaining drawings and drawing register.
- Experience of internal audits will be an added advantage.
- Quality Assurance - Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the CSG, etc.
- Safety - Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the CSG, etc.
- Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

Requirements

Essential skills/experience:
- Relevant Experience in the field of oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical process drawing drafting/design.
- Preference will be given for candidates with experience in ISO 9001 certified Middle East engineering consultancy companies.
- Experience in AUTOCAD 2D, AUTOPLANT, PDMS, PDS, Micro-station, MS Office is a must.
- Independently able to produce process drawings using company or client drawing standards.
- Experience in preparing line lists, equipment list, drawing and document lists.
- Good working knowledge of manual drawing conversion tools (raster or vector) and editing in required software.
- Familiarity with all process related engineering activities.
- Dynamic and enthusiastic approach.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrated performance as a team leader.
- A practical hands on approach is required.
