Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Aramco energizes the world economy.

Aramco occupies a unique position in the global energy industry. We are the world's largest producer of hydrocarbons (oil and gas), with the lowest upstream carbon intensity of any major producer.

With our significant investment in technology and infrastructure, we strive to maximize the value of the energy we produce for the world along with a commitment to enhance Aramco's value to society.

Headquartered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and with offices around the world, we combine market discipline with a generations' spanning view of the future, born of our nine decades experience as responsible stewards of the Kingdom's vast hydrocarbon resources. This responsibility has driven us to deliver significant societal and economic benefits to not just the Kingdom, but also to a vast number of communities, economies, and countries that rely on the vital and reliable energy that we supply.

We are one of the most profitable companies in the world, as well as amongst the top five global companies by market capitalization.

Overview

The candidate must have relevant documented experience in the gas processing field in one or more of the following specialties: Amine Sweetening, Sulfur Recovery, Dehydration, NGL recovery, Water Treatment, or Steam/Power generation. Alternatively, the candidate must have relevant documented experience in an environmental engineering related field, such as waste water treatment, waste handling and management, environmental compliance, carbon capture and sequestration, or tail gas treatment.

The candidate must demonstrate that he had worked in a gas processing facility for a minimum of 10 years. He must be proficient with process simulation software like Aspen HYSYS, BR&E Promax, or equivalent.

The candidate must be trained or certified in advanced Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) methods like HAZOP or LOPA, and trained in advanced Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methods like fault tree analysis or FMEA.

It is preferred that the candidate has a valid recognized professional certificate, such as Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), or equivalent.

The candidate is expected to lead investigation, assessment, or project teams, in addition to train and develop young talent. Relevant soft skills include: written and oral communication, problem solving, critical thinking, mentoring, project and time management, and ability to lead teams of different backgrounds and skill levels.
