Procurement Specialist (Indirect Goods and Services)

Job description / Role

- Responsible for the procurement of goods and services essential for the company’s operations
- Strategizing to find the most cost effective pricing, service providers and products
- Devise and implement best sourcing strategies
- Source most profitable suppliers and initiate business partnerships
- Lead the negotiation with external vendors to secure the most advantageous terms
- Approve the ordering of necessary indirect categories (this includes Marketing, FM, Professional Services, Travel, IT)
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the clarity of the specifications of company needs
- Perform risk management with regards to supply contracts and agreements
- Control the spend and manage a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs

Requirements

- Degree educated (ideally in Business Administration, SCM or equivalent)
- 3+ years of work experience in managing indirect categories
- Strong knowledge of indirect corporate procurement
- Fluent English and Arabic (verbal and written)
- Solid negotiation skills
- Ability to build solid relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Based in Saudi Arabia
