Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer with extensive industry experience in production engineering to join the Upstream Professional Development Center (UPDC) to work with business line SMEs to develop and deliver training courses to Saudi Aramco production engineers. The position requires experience in mentoring and training other professionals in production engineering.

You will work within a team of technical advisors with broad experiences and specialties covering all Upstream disciplines to develop and deliver a wide range of professional development programs targeting Saudi Aramco Upstream professionals of all experience levels.

Although the primary role will be to develop and deliver Production Engineering training programs, you will also work closely with UPDC technical advisors from other disciplines in the development of multidisciplinary training programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:

Enhance the UPDC Production Engineering (PE) curricula for early career, mid-career and senior professionals

Develop technical content including but not limited to: Existing PE-catalog curriculum, new courses, and eLearning delivery courses as needed

Participate in delivery of upstream professional on boarding program. Additionally, PE technical advisors must contribute to delivery of PE curriculum courses per area of expertise.

Maintain PE job family administrative duties including: developing course schedules each year, working with training coordinators to enroll participants, meet with technical experts from the organization to establish curriculum, and work with contracting department to source industry experts to deliver vendor courses.

Collect and analyze post-course feedback to improve content for future offerings.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

As a successful candidate you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar. Other science degrees with extensive experience in Production Engineering will also be considered.

You must have at least 15 years of industry experience in production engineering that includes 10 years or more of recent active technical roles.

You should have a working knowledge of a wide range of production competencies such as production optimization with nodal analysis, rigless well control, well intervention, well stimulation, well completions, artificial lift, well integrity, and data gathering.
