Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Job description / Role

A fantastic opportunity to join with our client team-a leader in Infrastructure for their projects in Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. Priority will be given to those working for one of the ‘majors’ or top echelon of service companies.

They are looking for a Project Manager to work in Jizan.

Responsibilities:
- Manages the project technically and contractually, organizes, plans, schedules, and controls the field work, minimizes extra costs for changes requested by the client.
- Establishes and maintains the project handbook, project execution plan and procedures manual
- Develops and modifies and Implements the project control system.
- Takes executive decisions as required by the nature of the ongoing project needs.
- Interviews shortlisted external consultants/contractors to form part of a project team.
- Complies with the clauses & requirements of all contract documents agreed between the client and all other parties and acts accordingly.
- Advises and directs the client on contractual and technical matters.
- Leads and manages project procurement, delivery and commissioning
- Manages submission and negotiations of proposals to local authorities and local planning authorities.
- Manages the tenders, contracts and involves in contract negotiation.
- Liaises with internal and external key project stakeholders
- Controls and reports on all project budgets.
- Leads and manages the production of project documentation
- Identifies any major risks and resolves project issues
- Establish and maintain project risk registers
- Ensures compliance with quality management principles and processes
- Prepares general and specific reports and recommendations to clients
- Manages the Projects’ financial process

Requirements

- Experience in managing a programme of major projects, preferably within the infrastructure sector, however will consider other sectors with similar values
- MUST have Aramco approval (5 years with Aramco)
- Experience in Saudi is a MUST
- 15 years experience
- BSc in related subject or equivalent experience
