In the role of Project Manager you will be responsible for management and delivery of projects within the client’s Professional Services team for Emerging Markets. You will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
- Ensuring projects are managed according the client Security delivery framework and industry best practice, including execution of appropriate project management controls.
- Maintaining assurance and compliance for projects within your management control, including risk management, financial management, commercial and quality management.
- Working with Professional Services (PS) Operations to ensure that there is efficient allocation of resources with appropriate skills within the program & project portfolio - and that their own utilization is aligned to targets.
- Supporting the wider project management and PS Operations communities, ensuring that experiences and knowledge are shared and re-purposed for the benefit of all.

You will manage the following activities for your assigned projects:
- You will be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables on engagements are met to the required standard of quality within the constraints of time and cost as defined in the Project/Program PID/TOR and Plan. You will also be responsible for quality, risk and issue management plans.
- You will manage, track and report on the financial (revenue, cost, margin) aspects of all projects within the assigned region.
- Monitor and control the project against baseline plans and/or program plan.
- You will take responsibility for overall use of project resources, and initiation of corrective action where required. You will also manage the project administration including regular maintenance of project filing and project outlines.
- Responsibility for compliance with Service Management standards, for example including change control management.
- Managing 3rd party channel & partner relationships in the projects.

You will demonstrate your leadership skills for your assigned projects by:
- Providing leadership to the project resources, acting as the figurehead for your projects, directing and motivating the team.
- Being a member of the program and project community, working with colleagues to add value to all members based on experience gained.
- Engaging directly with business stakeholders as required for the program/project to ensure My client Security is delivering on their promise and to the best of its ability.

You will be responsible for the following governance activities:
- You will ensure that wider program governance and reporting processes are adhered to and ensure engagement mechanisms such as daily progress reports are closely managed, with issued addressed in a timely manner.
- Responsibility for project administration and compliance with corporate and/or program standards.
- Resolving all engagement and related conflicts in a timely manner, escalating to the PS Regional Manager wherever necessary.
- Signing-off of all expenditure in line with Project Forecasts and agreed Tolerances.

You will demonstrate your communication skills by:
- Promoting My client Security Professional Services- its processes, outcomes, benefits and ongoing results - to the organization including IT and key business stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships and trust with key business/program stakeholders by demonstrating a deep understanding of their business issues and requirements.
- Manage project communications in line with any defined program standards.

Requirements

- 5 years or equivalent experience working in the IT industry in project management roles, with a proven ability to lead and deliver multiple projects at one time.
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills, with the ability to work at senior management levels and translate technical information into commercial terms for non-technical contacts.
- Experience of managing geographically distributed projects and working with remote teams in different time zones.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities and ablity to build trusting relationships with the business and peers within the project and program.
- Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in developing Proposals and Statements of Work.
- Experience of contributing to and writing detailed and excellent quality documentation to support technical implementation work of multiple projects.
- Qualification in project management preferably PMI's PMP or PRINCE 2 Certification and fully conversant with Microsoft Project.
- Outstanding time management skill and experience in project budgeting.
- Ability to work in a flexibly resourced people environment.
- Prior experience working within professional services/consulting fields within a product company.
- Understanding of market issues and trends affecting business and use of IT within various sectors.
- My client Security product knowledge is a plus, McAfee ePO, McAfee SIEM, Data Protection (EEPC, EEFF, DLP), McAfee IPS (NSP), ATD, Firewall (Stonesoft), MVM, etc.
- Possessing commercial and risk acuity, able to easily identify with the business issues and able to proactively manage risks and commercial exposure.
- Organizationally astute - able to operate effectively within a complex corporate environment undergoing significant change.
- A person of integrity, living and demonstrating the My client Values. A role model and agent of cultural change.
- Flexibility to travel - up to 30% of your time across EMEA.
