Job description / Role
Project Objective: Creating a modern, efficient bus network as part of an integrated transport system, consisting of a centralized Transport Control Center with a system-wide Automated Fare Collection System together with Real-Time Passenger Information and Journey Planner applications to support the Riyadh ITS Bus Project.
Work Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Quality Management of the ITS Project
- Monitoring the ITS Contractor’s quality department
- Defining the Quality Management System to use in the overall project
- Attending technical meetings and performing auditing
- Corresponding with the ITS Contractor’s QA/QC Specialist
- Lead the assessment process for recommending grant of Certificate of Approval.
- Responsible to monitor and control the on-side implementation of the ITS project
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related Technical / Engineering Qualification
- Master's in Civil/Transportation Engineering is desirable but not mandatory
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Transportation / Traffic Engineering with Strong technical knowledge of ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) and Implementation.
Note: As per our client’s restrictions, we prefer to accept candidates with Western or European Educational background, but candidates with strong technical knowledge of ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) from any Nationality or Educational Qualification, will be considered (but must have western education or certificates)
