QHSE Facilities Officer

Job description / Role

Our Client:
Is one of the top 4 international engineering consultancy, looking for a QHSE Facilities to work in Alula, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:
- Performs reporting, risk assessments and auditing and observes all QHSE related activities and policies within a location.
- Ensures operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner and in conformance to federal, provincial and company safety regulations by integrating and implementing company and third-party QHSE policies and procedures.
- Performs post-incident investigations and communicates with the QHSE Manager and others until all action items have been closed.
- Files QHSE documents and participates in job risk analysis and continual improvement.
- Provide QHSE support in the workplace during emergencies; direct work activity to stop when there is immediate threat related to QHSE.
-Facilitate and/or assist Facilities Operations Team and employees in complying with all QHSE related policies and procedures through training, auditing, assisting the HSE committees, tool box meetings, incident investigations and corrective action follow-up.

Requirements

Education and Qualification:
• Educated to degree level in Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental management or equivalent.
• Qualified in Management systems auditing.
• Experience of working within an airport project.
• At least 7 years of experience.
• Ability to work well with others and continue to deliver results under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to establish credibility quickly.
• Demonstrable excellence in oral and written communication.
• Outstanding motivational and people management skills.
• True leadership skills necessary to achieve ambitious targets.
