Job description / Role
Job Purpose
This Position exists to perform product quality assurance activities efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.
Key Accountability Areas
- Review processes, tests and inspects products, compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products
- Working from Design drawings, specifications, schematics, diagrams, written descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform Inspection, checklist, First off part Inspection, root cause analysis, internal corrective actions and supplier correction actions.
- Interpret Design drawings, schematic diagrams or formulas and confers with Design team to determine quality and reliability standards.
- Select processes to be audited from primarily the manufacturing areas and checks for a variety of features, such as handling practices, work instructions, documentation, training and process integrity.
- Select products for audits at specified stages in the production or post-production process, and type tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance and mechanical, electrical or cosmetic characteristics as per governing standard requirements.
- Record audit data, applying statistical quality control procedures. Perform process capability study Cp,CPk.
- Recommend modifications of existing quality inspection procedures to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability. Continual Improvement activities.
- SAP Inspection Plan creation for new materials / SAP QM Module Finished goods Posting and verification.
- Q Circle Activities Review (Reports / Pictures/Quotes- Display) / Conduct Shop floor stand up meeting with qc Team for current Quality Issues.
- Prepare and review graphs or charts of data or enters data into computer for Statistical analysis and SPC.
- Analyze type test results and implements process changes to resolve problems.
- Prepare and regular review Inspection test plan, process flow, and work instructions for all processes.
- Review and maintain records according to ISO documentation requirements.
- Regular Review and follow-up for non-conformities and required corrective actions. 8D problem solving for customer complaints.
- Prepare procedures, verity the functional status, and record and document the calibration process for all testing and measuring instruments used by all departments in the factory.
- Prepare report and graphs for Key performance Index (KPI).
- Provide adequate training to employee as per Quality Requirements. (Examples: 7QC tools, Sampling Plan, GD and T, Control Charts, etc..)
Role Accountability
- Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
- Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
- Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.
- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
- Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
