Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Administers the Repair and Return and Warranty Claims portion of supply chain management.
• Makes recommendations to improve productivity, processing warranty claims, quality, and efficiency of tracking/operations; coordinates and resolves issues.
• Maintains 100% accountability of all supplies, equipment and supply records under his control.
• Manages ordering, purchasing, inventory control, and distribution of major end items, spares and consumables.
• Provides input to the forecast planning function using inventory levels and product demand to estimate output; works with OEM or authorized repair facility and customers to determine optimal inventory levels based on demand and the Repair & Return TAT.
• Responsible for overseeing Repair & Return warehousing, shipping, receiving, and handling of materials; assists in coordination of day-to-day operations of organization.
• Provides input on the development of quality standards and protocols for quality assurance testing; assists in the design and implementation of policies and procedures for repair and return items.
• Supports the planning and use of the IMS & IMOPS; interprets results using a variety of techniques; generates reports.
• Assists in the performance of inventory cycle counts; researches missing parts to find current locations; ensures all warehouse personnel follow policies and procedures for inventory-handling.
• Assists in the development, execution and coordinates Environmental Compliance with required federal/KSA and local government organizations IAW PME regulations and DoD/USA regulations when applicable.
• Provides repair and return reporting status to the appropriate chain of command detailing the repair and return of equipment, TAT, repair costs, shipment costs, acquisition costs.
• Provides recommendation to the chain of command based on the historical cost for the repair and return of repair parts.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities

Requirements

Education Level:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Post-Secondary Education (i.e. Associate’s Degree) or military training preferred.

Experience:
• Minimum of 8 years of broad-based experience in the fields of material coordination, supply, distribution, and inventory accountability required.

Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements:
• Previous experience handling inventory and using bar code equipment is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.

Other:
• Ability to Speak/Understand English.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
