Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for equipment for FM radio stations, Audio vault Automation, Pro-tools Audio Mix system, Final Cut Pro and adobe primer edit suites, Graphics systems, Central Storage, Data Archive, Ingesting, Media Asset Management System Scheduling System, professional cameras and lighting equipment, Audiovisual Routing System, Multi Camera Live facilities, TV production studios and Photography equipment.
• Provide technical support for high profile events, e.g. inaugurations, signing ceremonies, business or and other main events which may require TV coverage.
• Provide technical support to the News Monitoring and Exhibit in terms of maintaining equipment and operate the teleprompter for executive management.

Specific Duties:
• Perform a broad range of media maintenance and FM Radio maintenance to ensure proper functioning.
• Install, repair and calibrate audiovisual media equipment.
• Design and install custom audiovisual circuit diagrams.
• Troubleshoot media and radio equipment down to the component level.
• Ability to diagnose and repair or replace FM transmitters (digital and analogue), RDS, antennas, audio chains, Axia
• Console and studio equipment (Pro Tools), repair and maintain PC and Mac computers and maintain broadcast automation software such as Audio Vault.
• Interface with support organizations within MPD and Wireless Maintenance Group as well as Government Agencies as needed.
• Perform quality assurance testing on newly delivered equipment.
• Conduct routine and diagnostic test on equipment using electronic test equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all media equipment as per schedule.
• Keep up to date with the industry by building and maintaining a network of contacts.
• Performs other similar or related duties as requested or required.

Salary:
SAR 11,000 to 12,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Seven (7) years professional experience in electronics field, including experience with Radio Audio Vault System.
• Bachelor Degree in Electronics Engineering.
• Licensed Broadcast Engineer.
• Experience in Audiovisual event coverage setups.
• Experience in Information Technology and networking.
• Experienced in broadcast software and hardware maintenance.
• Able to read, write and speak English. Additional Arabic an advantage.
