Job description / Role
• Lead and execute Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Programs for Radio Systems (major: Motorola Digital
TETRA Systems and Analog MPT1327 Radio Trunking System).
• Troubleshooting, Repair and Maintenance of Motorola Digital TETRA Systems & MPT1327 Analog Radio Trunking Systems.
• Handle all IT Related software issues for the Radio System (configuration, back-ups, programming…etc.).
• Prepare professional reports of all measurements & tests of the Radio Systems and End-user radios.
• Handle Depot Repairs [Service Levels (L1-L3)] of FM Approved Radio Communications Products (as Motorola Handhelds,
Motorola/SIMOCCO Mobiles and Fixed-base radios, Motorola Repeaters models MTR2000 & MTR3000 and Spectra Engineering Repeaters model MX800)
• Handle Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Programs for Digital TETRA Radio Systems (i.e. Motorola DIPM TETRA Systems)
• Perform site surveys and prepare Bill of Material for Radio Signal Enhancers, Repeaters, and Mobile & Fixed Radio installations
• Handle Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Programs for Digital TETRA Radio Systems (i.e. Motorola DIPM TETRA Systems
• Execute installation and de-installation of Radio Signal Enhancers, Repeaters, Mobile and Fixed-radios
• Function as QA/QC Engineer (technical part) whenever possible in depot and field locations
Qualification and job Specification
• Familiar with telecommunications field works in the Petrochemicals, Gas and Oil sectors.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
• Ability to design radio systems and to review Engineering Designs.
• Strong theoretical knowledge in the HF, VHF and UHF Tele-communications
• Strong knowledge in comprehending Block Diagrams and Electronic Circuits
• Hand-on experience in repairs of internal electronic boards up to the components level (as RF Boards, Controller Logic Boards...etc.).
• University Degree/Diploma in Telecommunications or Electronics Engineering.
• Programming of Repeaters and radio terminals using specific software
Requirements
• Proven working experience 5 yrs or above
• Age not more than 30 to 45 yrs
• English language is essential
• Able to work under pressure
• Self driven, Initiative
• PC software skills
