Rail Civil Interface Manager

Job description / Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Rail Civil Interface Manager to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The Rail Civil Interface Manager will be responsible for managing the interface between the civil engineering aspects of the rail project and other related disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and extensive experience in the rail or transportation industry.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the interface between civil engineering and other disciplines such as track, signaling, electrification, and rolling stock
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of civil engineering aspects with overall project requirements
- Review and approve civil engineering design proposals, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on civil engineering matters to the project team
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of civil engineering activities and address any issues or deviations from the project plan
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of civil engineering components
- Participate in regular project meetings and provide updates on civil engineering activities and milestones
- Conduct site visits and inspections to oversee the quality and progress of civil engineering works

Requirements

· 20 years’ experience of system integration on major rail and/or infrastructure projects.
· Project experience in a live rail environment.
· Technical knowledge in rail interfaces, System Architecture drawings and System Breakdown Structure.
· Experience in Civils – Civils, System – Civils and System to System interface.
· Experience in requirement management, system engineering and V&V.
· Knowledge in using DOORS.

Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
