Description
Scope of Service: Peritoneal Dialysis
• The Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) unit cares for adult and pediatric patients on peritoneal dialysis in hospital and at home. The patients and caregivers are educated in all aspects of PD i.e. Continuous Ambulatory
• Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) and Automated Peritoneal Dialysis (APD) in order to dialyze independently and safely at home. The patients are provided with ongoing follow-up care. The staff provides support and education for all areas in the hospital in relation to peritoneal dialysis.
• The Peritoneal Dialysis Unit is divided into two main areas, adults and pediatrics.

• Registered Nurse with current nursing license from country of origin
