Requirements & Configuration Manager

Job description / Role

This role supports the Rail Civil and Systems Interface Lead in the managing the Requirements & Configuration. Requirements Management (RM) covers the process of analyzing, formulating and prioritizing project assumptions and requirements such that they are identified and confirmed as needed in the project and properly tracked throughout the project lifecycle.

· The role will also cover managing the configuration of the railway including civil works, railway systems, including trains, signaling systems, and related components.

Requirements

· 20 years’ experience of system integration on major rail and/or infrastructure projects.
· Project experience in a live rail environment.
· Technical knowledge in Rail Interfaces, System Architecture drawings and System Breakdown Structure.
· Experience in Civils – Civils, System – Civils and System to System interface.
· Experience in requirement management, system engineering and V&V.
· Proficiency in DOORS.

Qualifications
· Bachelor's in Engineering
