Retail Delivery Director

Job description / Role

The role will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of retail spaces within property developments. Work closely with the property development team, as well as other stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality retail spaces that meet the needs of our clients and customers.

Client Details

Our client is involved in one of the biggest real estate developments in the KSA region with a focus on various different asset classes across a large area. The different asset classes include Cultural and Historical, Retail and Lifestyle, Hospitality, Education and Live and Work.

Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the delivery of retail spaces across all property developments, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Work closely with the property development team to develop and implement a strategic vision for retail spaces that aligns with the overall objectives of the company.
* Build and maintain relationships with external retailers, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the delivery process.
* Manage the procurement process for retail spaces, ensuring that all contractors and suppliers are selected through a fair and transparent process and that all contracts are effectively managed.
* Develop and implement a robust reporting system that enables effective monitoring of the delivery of retail spaces across all property developments.
* Identify and manage risks associated with the delivery of retail spaces, ensuring that all risks are effectively mitigated.
* Manage the budget for the delivery of retail spaces, ensuring that all projects are delivered within budget and that any variances are effectively managed.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be strong in Retail Delivery with a focus on large and complex projects. Strong leadership skills and management skills are required.

* Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Real Estate, Architecture, or related field.
* 15+ years of experience in property development, with a focus on retail spaces.
* Proven track record in delivering high-quality retail spaces within budget and on time.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders.
* Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in the property development industry.
* Ability to lead and manage a team of professionals.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
