Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) Facilitator Engineer to join our Ras Tanura Refinery Engineering Department, Corrosion Management Unit.

Your primary role will be to lead and facilitate Risk-Based Inspection processes for various assets, equipment, and facilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks, develop inspection plans, and optimize maintenance strategies to ensure the integrity and reliability of assets while minimizing operational risks.

Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

• Lead and facilitate Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) assessments for critical assets and equipment.
• Develop and implement RBI methodologies, processes, and procedures to identify, assess, and manage risks effectively.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to prioritize inspection activities based on risk assessment results.
• Utilize risk assessment tools and software to analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making processes.
• Review inspection reports, findings, and recommendations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Work closely with reliability engineers to optimize maintenance strategies and improve asset reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and support to field inspection teams during on-site inspections and evaluations.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate personnel on RBI concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Monitor and track key performance indicators related to asset integrity, reliability, and risk mitigation.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in RBI technologies to continuously improve RBI processes.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in Asset Integrity Management is a plus.
• You should have a minimum of 10 years' experience.
• A Proven experience in Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) facilitation, implementation, and management within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or related industries.
• In-depth knowledge of RBI methodologies, risk assessment techniques, and inspection planning strategies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in using RBI software tools and platforms for risk analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations governing asset integrity and inspection practices.
• Willingness to travel to various project sites and facilities as needed.
