Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The risk department manager will report to the board of director’s risk committee based on the roles and responsibilities set in the relevant regulations issued by the Saudi Central Bank. The tasks include:

- Analyzing and measuring risks associated with all aspects of the Company’s operations.
- Monitoring and updating the Company’s Risk Appetite Statement for new market and regulatory developments.
- Preparing risk reports in accordance with the plan approved by the risk committee.
- Providing relevant input related to the Company’s strategic plans.
- Ensuring risk related regulations are adhered to and remedial action is proposed to management when required.
- Devising systems and processes to monitor validity of risk modeling outputs.
- Evaluating the risks and benefits involved in implementing new technologies.
- Devising scenario analyses reflecting possible severe market events.
- Maintaining records and ensuring data quality of risk reporting systems.
- Supervising, training and evaluating department staff.

Requirements

- This position is only open for Saudi nationals.
- A university degree in a relevant field such as business administration, risk management, finance or accounting.
- Professional risk management certifications and relevant training.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in risk management (financial services/insurance preferred).
- Excellent communication & language skills.
