Job description / Role

Rotating Equipment Engineer (Oil & Gas) - Al Khobar, KSA

- Supervise Design Contractor's activities during detailed design and engineering phase, including review of reports, attending meetings, monitoring of resource levels, monitoring of compliance to DEP's, HSE etc.
- Maintain proper integration with client's Operational, Maintenance and HSE philosophies and practices.
- Maintain proper integration with existing facilities and installations.
- Review and evaluation of equipment bids for technical compliance, review/ approval of vendor drawings, participation in witness testing, review and approval of TPI reports, coordination of SPIR's for commissioning & operating spares.
- Review Project scope, preparation of material requisition, material selection, data sheets & specification for rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, Turbines and mechanical packages.
- Technical Evaluation of vendor offers, Vendor discussions, Vendor drawing reviews, follow up vendor inspection visits etc.

Requirements

- Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer with minimum 15 years of experience
- At least 8 years of Engineering experience in Major O&G Projects
- Strong knowledge of Conceptual Design, FEED and Detailed Engineering of Oil /Gas/ Petrochemicals Processing facilities
- Experience in Scope Review, FEED endorsement; Equipment selection report, Design Calculations, International Codes & Standards
