SAP HANA Consultant

Job description / Role

SAP HANA:

• Involve in information gather phase
• Migrate MS SQL Database into SAP HANA
• Create Users, Roles, Privileges, Packages, Schemas as part of HANA Security and Development
• Design and implement SAP HANA data modeling using Attribute View, Analytic View, and Calculation
• Develop complex SQL scripts in Calculation views
• Execute Data Extraction Transfer Loading (ETL) using SAP Data Services 4.0 to import csv files into SAP
• Involve in SAP HANA Security including User Management, Roles, and Privileges
• Reporting, Accessing Analytical and Calculation views from EXCEL.
• Involve in Information Design Tool Creation of Data Foundation, Universe for HANA reporting.
• Develop Web Services for SAP HANA database and deliver to ASP.NET developers to consume data in .net
based applications

SERVERS:

• Maintain server hardware, replacement and supporting vendor requirements.
• Perform 24x7 on call duties on a rotation basis with the other FME.
• Analyze Unix/Windows Systems, check processes and collect log files, and retrieve and review information contained within logs for troubleshooting.
• Check Hardware alarm and led and proactive action.
• Provide maintenance services and support for hardware testing, installation and should aware of system software pros and cons.
• System disk/module changes following existing change management processes.

STORAGE:

• Provide required technical work at customer sites for Physical replacement & Logical installation , configuration related to NAS, SAN, IPSAN Storages and support including Huawei OceanStor Products especially Enterprise Class.
• Must be familiar with Huawei OceanStor Manager
• Work as per SLA to resolve the tickets assigned
• Ability to work in shifts and odd times
• Work proactively to avoid issues by feedback of the equipment status
• Preferred with experience for integration and management of Storages, Mirriring technologies and Clustering schemes.
• Preference given to candidate having certifications related Storages

• Reporting Object Explore, Information Design tool : HANA SQL scripting, Javascript
• Language Tools : SAP HANA Database, SQL 2005, 2008 and 2012
• Windows Server Administration (Windows 2000, 2003, 2008 and 2012, 2016)
• VMWare Administration, Hyper-V
• IIS 7.0 Administration
• Active Directory Administration
• Websphere
• TCP/IP Network Troubleshooting
• Working with MS SQL/Oracle Databases
• XML Configuration
• Server hardware planning & implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance.Certification is a plus
• Ability to work on Enterprise and Mid Range class Servers and NAS/SAN Storages, especially on Huawei servers and Storage, Ceritification is a plus
• Good Knowledge of Backup Solutions and provided backup solutions. Certification is a plus
