Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing and maintaining the IT licenses contracts, ensure compliant and effectively managed. This helps to minimize legal and financial risks while maximizing the value of software investments.

Key Accountability Areas

Contract Management:
- Reviewing software license contracts with vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
- Managing and maintaining a centralized repository of all software license contracts, including tracking contract terms, renewal dates, and obligations.

License Compliance:
- Ensuring that the organization is in compliance with the terms and conditions of software license contracts, including usage restrictions and license limits.

Vendor Management:
- Building and maintaining relationships with software vendors and resellers to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of contract-related issues.

Contract Renewals:
- Coordinating the renewal process for software license contracts, including evaluating contract performance, negotiating renewal terms, and ensuring timely renewals.

Contract Amendments:
- Managing and implementing any amendments or changes to software license contracts, including negotiating contract modifications and updating contract terms.

Risk Mitigation:
- Identifying and mitigating contractual risks associated with software license agreements, such as non-compliance, termination clauses, or penalties.

Compliance Audits:
- Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with software license contracts and identifying any potential violations or risks.

Legal and Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensuring that software license contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborating with IT teams, legal departments, procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategies.

- Ensure availability of delegation of authority matrix to have sufficient delegations as per company policy.

Responsibility:
- Must take full responsibility for his operation as per the job description and the required deliverables from this position, taking into consideration the general company guidelines.

- Ability to take necessary and proper timely decisions.

- Deliver the required results in timely manner with required quality and cost.

Business Planning and Performance:
- Able to transform the corporate goals into business plans.
- Able to Plan, follow-up and execute those plans, whether they are annual or development plans.
- Monitor the plan performance and initiate action to strengthen results and take the corrective action accordingly.
- Provide periodic work progress reports.
- Responsible for monitoring and controlling budgets and expenses to achieve the optimum cost efficiency.

Organizational Development:
- Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans.
- Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deployment.

Business Process Improvements:
- Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
- Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
- Promote the automated systems and using them fully, to spread its culture.

Quality:
- Quality is considered as alfanar's prime competitive advantage as such, managers are expected to act accordingly.

Adaptation:
- Adapt to new and alternative techniques, technologies, management structures, and business models.

Health, Safety and Environment:
- Ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment as per the standard regulations.

Academic Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or Any relevant field
