Employment: Full Time

Client's a global construction company that are looking for an experienced Security Manager to work on an exciting contract in Saudi Arabia.

The Security Manager has responsibility as managing agent for the effective procurement, selection and on-going management of all security contractors at our client’s iconic projects in Riyadh. You are responsible for all aspects of physical security, manned guarding and electronic security of the building and grounds and the protection of the client’s assets against loss or damage. You will drive and further develop the strategy for an integrated security process and be the trusted security advisor to our client with respect to evolving threats using international best practice and your time-served experience as the benchmark. You will propose, and achieve agreement on an effective service level agreement framework and manage your chosen contractors through non-subjective key performance indicators.

The Security Manager must be fully committed to supporting the core business objectives of Interserve and our client, whilst obtaining best value for money for the organization. You will ensure that the security function fully meets this requirement.

Requirements

- College/Diploma education with a minimum of 15 years’ proven experience in Security Risk / Consultancy Services
- Security professional with proven management experience within the security industry, the public sector or armed services (retiring with the rank of Major or above).
- Enthusiastic and committed approach with a track record of building strong, trusted base relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- A sound working knowledge of international security best practice and legislation affecting the security role.
- Excellent knowledge of Physical, manned and electronic security systems.
- Strong management and leadership skills together with excellent communication, influencing, negotiating and engagement skills.
- Good IT skills with a sound knowledge of the range of MS Office packages
- Extensive experience of writing procedures, drafting reports, preparing business cases and compiling and adjusting duty rosters to meet shortfalls in staffing levels.
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
- An innovative approach and sound leadership qualities.
- Experience of working in a busy and challenging workplace / work environment.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to speak Arabic

The package for the role is between 40,000 - 45,000 SAR all inclusive.
