Senior Accountant

Job description / Role

Purpose of the Job:
- Recording journal entries and reconciliations for monthly general ledger close.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements, reports and records by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts.
- Responsible for general ledger.
- Prepare and review expenses, invoices, payroll entries and other accounting documents.
- Fixed asset processing and reporting.
- Maintain bank accounts by requesting disbursements.
- Review bank statements.
- Research and reconcile all discrepancies.
- Auditing and verifying documents.
- Following internal controls.
- Completing data backups.
- Financial and profitability analysis on a requested basis.

Requirements

- Accounting Degree, CPA is plus.
- 3+ years of experience in similar role with proven record of success.

Skills:
- Knowledge of financial and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, knowledge of financial and accounting software (ERP literate), Time Management skills, Excellent Excel skills, Excellent English Communication skills.
