Employment: Full Time

The role requires leading, managing, monitoring, and administering quality surveillance function across the portfolio throughout construction and asset handover phase of projects. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all assets (hospitality and others) comply and adhere to the highest level of quality and execution standards. The selected candidate will lead this function and manage a team of construction quality professionals

Client Details

This is a unique opportunity to join an organisation who is involved in one of the biggest real estate developments in the KSA Region. One of the giga-projects in Saudi Arabia focusing on hospitality development and increasing the countries future tourism.

Description

* Develop, implement and champion all Quality Standards to ensure all assets delivered adhere to best-in-class quality standards
* Develop processes and procedures to ensure regular surveillance of projects is undertaken by the wider Quality Surveillance team
* Embed a culture of quality and guest readiness in all teams to ensure the final assets handed over adhere to the execution standards akin to world class hospitality projects
* Ensure regular and vigilant surveillance during the construction phase, especially of MEP and fit out works to identify nonconformances and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks and improve execution quality
* Participate in key inspections related to MEP, fit-out and other construction works as required. Review inspection outcomes and highlight areas of non-conformance, observations in quality and workmanship through formal reports and notices
* Review WIRs, NCRs and Observation reports for key construction packages. Analyze and determine root cause and ensure preventive measures and mitigations are communicated with all teams
* During handover, work closely with construction, operations readiness and asset management to ensure the standards of quality are adhered to in handover of the asset to operators
* Continuously develop and improve existing processes and procedures to ensure QHS comply with industry standards and ISO 9001:2015

Requirements

* An ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or any related construction field with a minimum of 18 years of experience in a similar position out of which the last 3-4 years on a senior managerial position.
* Previous experience with hospitality projects is a must.
