Sr. Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Cables Factory | alfanar Electric

Job Purpose

Lead and oversee electrical maintenance activities, ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of electrical systems and machinery. Executing preventive and corrective maintenance, managing teams, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.

Key Accountability Areas

Maintenance Execution and Support:
- Perform and provide technical support to the maintenance team in addressing unplanned machine breakdowns.
- Request and manage the control of electrical spare parts for factory machines.
- Report the root causes of breakdowns, equipment faults, and concerns to the management.
- Adhere to the 5S methodology to maintain high workplace standards.
- Ensure that all work is executed to a high-quality standard and complies with regulations.

Preventive Maintenance and Machine Life:
- Strategically plan and supervise the execution of preventive maintenance plans.
- Organize teams to ensure 24-hour coverage for maintenance activities.
- Efficiently plan and prioritize workloads to support production and optimize working time.
- Contribute to reducing energy costs within the organization.
- Foster a safe working environment to proactively prevent electricity-induced accidents.

Modification and Innovation:
- Design and implement modifications for production machines.
- Effectively manage, train, and coordinate the electrical maintenance team.
- Plan and oversee the execution of electrical installation work for new machines.
- Keep management informed of work progress through detailed reports and presentations.
- Support the company in enhancing profitability through efficient resource management and valuable recommendations.

- Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
- Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
- Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.

Delivery:
- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:
- Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Business Process Improvements:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety and Environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

Work Experience
- 5 to 10 Years
