Senior HSE Engineer (CCGT Project)
Saudi Arabia (Remote location)
9-12 months contract
$12,800 per month plus accommodation, transport and meals

The Company & Project:
• A leading international Owners Engineer for Energy & Infrastructure projects have an opening for a Senior HSE Engineer at one of their projects in Saudi Arabia.
• The project is a large greenfield CCGT project located in a remote part of Saudi Arabia.

The Responsibilities:
• Work as the senior authority on all HSE matters for the Owners Engineer.
• Monitor all the work relating to HSE being conducted by the EPC Contractor.
• Monitor and audit all the policies and procedures relating to HSE that the EPC contractor has.
• Review and approve the EPC Contractors methodology for risk assessment and risk control.
• The working hours for this position are 60 hours per week.
• The duration of this contract is 9-12 months.

Requirements

The Candidate:
• Bachelors’ Degree from a Western University in a relevant Engineering discipline, supported by formal HSE qualifications.
• 15+ years’ experience in construction site safety on large and complex EPC projects in the Power or Oil & Gas sector.
• Previous international experience, ideally in the Middle East, is essential.
