Senior Landscape Architect

Job description / Role

Our client a leading Architectural and Engineering practice is currently seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join them on prestigious projects based in KSA.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing designs for landscaped environments for building interiors and exteriors, private gardens, major land developments and infrastructure and public & business parks from initial concept through design development to detailed design and tender documents.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:
- Take an active role in business development and procurement of landscape architecture projects.
- Preparation of preliminary sketches and design details for hardscape and softscape.
- Supervise and provide direction to the Landscape Architect and CAD Technicians and ensure the technical quality and timely completion of all design work, coordination of plans and specifications with the other disciplines.
- Provide input to site supervision of landscape construction works.

Requirements

- Degree and post-graduate Diploma or Masters’ Degree in Landscape Architecture
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in design of large landscape projects from concept and preliminary stages to construction documentation, some of which should have been gained in the Middle East.
- In addition to a thorough knowledge of all aspects of landscape architecture, knowledge of coordination of landscaping works with associated engineering systems, including utilities, irrigation and external lighting is required.
