Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Knowledge Engineer to facilitate our refining global portfolio Communities of Practice (CoPs) and codify expertise from top performing assets as part of our Global Manufacturing Excellence (GME) organizations.

Your primary role will see you as a key member of our Knowledge Management team, here to strengthen our manufacturing capabilities across the downstream refining portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead selected CoPs and expert forums to share lessons at scale.
• Conduct site visits and workshops to capture tacit knowledge.
• Develop structured processes and tools to document best practices.
• Contribute to the design and content of our Knowledge Hub platforms.
• Provide technical advisory support to plant managers on targeted initiatives.
• Assist with training programs and ensure adoption of expertise.
• Track metrics that demonstrate knowledge impact on KPIs.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• You must have a Bachelor Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or similar.
• You should have a minimum of 10 years experience within manufacturing operations.
• You should be able to demonstrate an expertise in 2+ key manufacturing domains such as operations, maintenance or HSE.
• Experience leading multi-site continuous improvement projects is preferred.
• Proficiency with knowledge engineering methodologies and digital tools would be essential.
• Strong communication, collaboration and change management skills is vital.
• The ability to distill technical expertise for multi-disciplinary audiences is preferred.
