Senior MEP Manager

Job description / Role

The MEP Manager will be responsible to overlook all aspects of mechanical, engineering and plumbing engineering for large-scale projects with seamless project execution, maintaining a balance between costs, quality and schedule.

Client Details

The client is a leading design and engineering contractor with a history of delivering major projects within the Kingdom across multiple asset classes.

Description

* Expertise and complete understanding of the Design and Engineering processes within a contracting company.
* Analyse and deliver solutions for challenges within MEP through throughout the project from shop drawings to site execution.
* Proven capability to coordinate with multiple teams in the project including Architectural and Civil work teams.
* Responsible for MEP engineering submittal such as material shop drawing and calculations.
* Ability to lead the engineering teams in identifying re-engineering savings and incorporation of these within the engineering process.
* Management and scheduling of Technical teams.
* Management and scheduling of the cost of engineering output for business.
* Management and scheduling of offshore and outsourced support companies.
* Manage of the business BIM implementation.
* Manage and maintain record keeping of engineering schedules and build files for all projects.

Requirements

* Holds a degree with Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
* Proven experience within Engineering or MEP Engineering for a minimum of 10 years.
* Prior experience in a managerial position for 5 years.
* Expertise in delivering for large-scale projects through a contracting company.
* Strong communication and organisation skills.
