Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of project work, from conception to completion, with a clear focus on achieving project objectives and business goals.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases.
- Oversee the financial aspects of projects including budgeting, cost tracking, and invoicing, ensuring profitability and managing financial objectives.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation, including the management of subcontractors and consultants.
- Manage changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed, providing regular updates on project status.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks and develop strategies to counteract potential issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and all stakeholders, including regular communication and consultation.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.

Requirements

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management qualification preferred.
- Proven working experience (10 years) as a Project Manager in the oil and energy sector.
- Solid technical background, with understanding and hands-on experience in the oil, gas, and energy industry.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing technical teams and contractors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), and other relevant tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel as required for the management of project activities.
