Senior Quantity Surveyor (Build / Civil / MEP)

Job description / Role

Several excellent opportunities have been created within one of the most recognisable organisations in the today's global industry. A Major International Multi Disciplinary Consultant looking is looking to employ Senior Quantity Surveyors for a number of project specifically in the Jeddah and Makkah Regions of Saudi Arabia. Senior Quantity Surveyors with a background in Building, Civil Engineering and MEP are sought. The roles are to be based on very significant and important projects within the building and civil sectors.

Reporting to the Commercial Management Team the Senior Quantity Surveyor primary function is ensuring the overall financial success of the project.

Some key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- All aspects of quantity surveying across all stage of the project
- Production of cost estimates
- Production of BoQ
- Review and analysis of tender returns
- Recommendations to Client
- Value and Risk Management Input
- Cost control
- Assessment of payment requests
- Preparation of value reports
- Maintains cash flow schedule
- Work with subcontractors on variation / change orders and payment
- Final accounts

Requirements

- Degree Qualified
- 15+ years of post graduate experience
- Muslim
- Arabic Speaking

Ideally we are looking for Saudi Nationals or candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama.

In addition any applicants will have a track record of working on large scale building projects in the Middle East with reputable contractors / consultants. Applicants will be able to demonstrate the ability work under their own initiative whilst retaining solid teamwork principals. Advanced communication skills are of high importance due to the client facing nature of this role.
