Senior SAP Master Data

Job description / Role

Job Purpose

Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data within an organization. Establishing and enforcing data governance policies and procedures, collaborating with various departments to define and maintain data standards, and implementing best practices for master data management. Optimize data quality, enhance decision-making processes, and support overall business objectives.

Key Accountability Areas

Data Integrity and Quality:
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the completeness and accuracy of material master data, resolving any discrepancies or errors

Classification and Categorization:
- Classify materials based on predefined categories, attributes, and taxonomies for ease of identification and procurement.

PIR (Purchase Information Record's), Source List Creations and Maintenance:
- Managing the Purchase Information Records related to AE ensuring the data completeness, Data consistency and controlling in accordance to the business standards with quality outputs, complying with all the validation processes duly integration with Purchase team

Vendor Collaboration:
- Collaborate with vendors or suppliers to validate and update material information, ensuring alignment with procurement requirements.

Cross-functional Coordination:
- Work closely with procurement, supply chain, and inventory management teams to address material-related inquiries, requests, and issues.

Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline material master data processes, develop and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

Documentation and Training:
- Develop documentation, guidelines, or training materials related to material master data management for internal stakeholders.

Hybris Master Data Management:
- Managing all the standard material master data processes ensuring the synchronization between SAP ECC and Hybris with the completeness of Arabic Description, Product Pictures & price completeness in validation with sales, Marketing, Product Line managers & Finance Depts. with all the validation processes

SAP projects - Master Data mapping with solutions:
- Execution and delivery of Master Data mapping with new projects in discussion with the related business key resources, coordination and discussion of SAP technical teams (IT) to ensure the mapping of business new process with related master data in SAP with the detailed study and analysis.
- Testing of new process with the best practices in coordination with the business process owner expertise and ensuring the proper testing in the development servers related to Master Data

Role Accountability

HR Proficiency:
- Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
- Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
- Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.

Delivery:
- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:
- Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Requirements

Quality:
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Safety:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science

Work Experience
- 5 to 10 Years
