Job description / Role
Job Purpose
• To manage the demand and supply planning (ordering, inventory management, and forecasts) of the assigned brands or customers to support the Sales function, while maintaining targeted inventory levels
Key Accountabilities
Order Forecast Management / Demand Planning
• Ensure forecast is in line with order history after adjusting promotions, new initiatives, seasonality and price changes to ensure stock target is not exceeded and is at its optimum levels.
• Collaborate with Sales and Category Management on the forecast of all regions in Saudi Arabia and consolidate the total demand of assigned brands.
• Ensure monthly orders are in line with stock targets and are placed on time with suppliers to reach stock availability.
• Analyze forecast variance and share root causes with Sales Managers to improve forecast accuracy.
Inventory Management
• Manage and maintain inventory targets for assigned brands or customers
• Analyze reasons for excess stocks and out of stock issues
• Highlight excess stock and out of stock issues on time to Sales employees and Category Managers to define the right follow up action.
Order Processing Efficiency
• Make sure that all documentation is ready to receive incoming shipments
• Closely align with the Warehouse team on incoming shipments to ensure space availability in the Warehouse.
• Follow up on the order status to expedite late shipments and avoid out of stocks
Reporting
• Develop weekly and monthly scorecards related to Supply & Demand Planning KPI’s of assigned brands or customers
Coaching of Team Members
• Train and coach junior team members on supply and demand planning processes
Requirements
Job Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or Finance
• 4-6 years of Supply Chain experience in a similar industry
• Good Planning and Organizing skills
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Good relationship building skills
• Strong communication skills
• Good Excel skills
