* Due to visa restrictions the successful candidate must be Saudi National.

* Commission based in Riyadh, creating a vast tourist destination in Saudi Arabia.

Description

The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for the technical configuration, development and deployment of a new SharePoint based Intranet and document management platform. The role will initially focus on scoping, creating and configuring the Office 365 based new SharePoint Intranet environment, thereafter creating a fully integrated document management platform. This includes migrating all related knowledge material from the existing on premise SharePoint platform to the new O365 platform and training content owners on best practice usage.

Requirements

* Significant exposure to Microsoft SharePoint 2007 / 2010 / 2013/ 2016 versions
* Knowledge of SharePoint 2016 on premise and Office 365 and its capabilities/restrictions
* Strong development experience, proficient in HTML / CSS / JavaScript and JQuery, visual studio
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office products and Adobe Photoshop
* Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
* Experience of SQL Server (multiple versions)
* Extensive knowledge of .NET development framework utilising platforms such as C#, ASP
* Ability to work to tight deadlines, tight scope but with a creative input
* Microsoft Certified Professional SharePoint Developer
* Knowledge and experience developing of multiple SharePoint Web Parts
* Able to deploy, integrate and configure web parts with other technologies
* Proficiency in technologies including C#, ASP.NET, XML and XSLT, WCF, AJAX, and SQL Server
* Good understanding of User Experience (UX) Design
* Understanding of general business practices, specifically within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
* Experience of all elements of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
* Required to resolve complex functional and configuration issues on a daily basis.
* Required to support other deployments within Group IT and drive the content migration process.
* Able to mentor colleagues to ensure good knowledge transfer and upskilling.
