POSITIION DESCRIPTION
- As a Chief Technical Advisor in Olefins System in the Saudi Technology Center you will be part of a process engineering team to provide plant technical lifecycle support from Basic engineering to plant operation.
- You will meet directly with the client, handle interdisciplinary meetings and information transfer and provides licensee feedback to improve KBR Olefins technology.
- Your work will involve conventional engineering and operation practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design and operation requirements, and difficult coordination requirements.
- Must be willing and available to travel domestically and internationally.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering required
- Minimum of 15+ yrs CURRENT experience in Olefins Process systems design, optimization and/or operation, with average experience of 20+ yrs experience
- Design or operations background in Ethylene is preferred; experience in other Petrochemical processes is a plus
- High level of proficiency P&ID development, Hydraulic calculations, and line sizing required
- Experience in application of advanced process systems design techniques to develop and optimize process designs is a plus
- Proficiency in conceptual development of process designs, basic economic evaluations, Process Flow Diagrams, P&IDs, equipment capacity evaluation and specification required
- Ability to provide supervision to less experience engineers required
- Ability to develop new engineering ideas and concepts needed
- Strong English verbal, writing and reading communication skills required
- Must have the ability to clearly convey technical concepts and principles in both verbal and written communications to clients, peers and KBR management
- Must be willing and available to travel domestic and international, as needed
- Ability to lead process engineering team on a basic engineering technology project
