Employment: Full Time

Job Description:

• Supervises and directs the activities of the Corporate & Executive Management travel services function.

• Arranges regular travel services (airline reservations and ticketing, hotel/car rental reservations, voucher issuance and meet and assist services) for Corporate Management travellers and Board meeting attendees/organizers, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

• Arranges specialised travel services (frequent flier program management, vacation planning, destination reviews, sourcing of specialized services including apartments, villas, limousines, restaurant reservations, entertainment reservations etc) for Corporate Management travelers and Board meeting attendees/organizers, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

• Sources and evaluates properties and service providers for Corporate and Executive management board meetings, seminars and functions.

• Reviews and verifies charges for personal-expense travel.

• Implements business allocation policies and investigates and reports deviations.

• Prepares travel reports and updates of interest to Corporate & Executive Management.

• Monitors service standards and investigate and resolve claims and complaints from user organizations.

• Ensures the maintenance of adequate records, files and reports as required by IATA, Saudi Aramco and internal/external auditors.

• Assists the Travel Supervisor in administrative duties such as evaluating employee’s performance, the distribution of workload and employee productivity analysis and the preparation of performance appraisals.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Male USA, UK and South African Nationality.

Two years of college with a qualification in Transportation, Business Administration or a related field.

5 years travel industry experience in North America or Europe, including 2 years experience in the Business Travel sector providing travel services at Corporate and Executive management level. Should posses a proven level of customer service skills including the handling of business and leisure travel, conferences and meetings for Executive/VIP clients.

Must hold IATA Advanced qualification together with being fully trained on CRS systems (preferably Galileo).

Must be totally proficient in all aspects of international ticketing and must posses extensive knowledge of IATA regulations, airfare calculation procedures (including pro-ration techniques) and ticket issuance (both manual and automated).

Product knowledge should be commensurate with his experience.

Experience of supervising staff would be an advantage but is not essential.

Incumbent must be PC and internet literate (Word, Excel, Outlook) and must possess a valid driver’s license

Incumbent must be extremely self motivated with excellent communications skills and the ability to work effectively with a multinational workforce. The ability to be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and a Customer Service driven work ethic are essential.
