Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Stock controller maintains an accurate record of all the items added to or taken from the inventory, also responsible for entering data (log) information and data manually or through our systems. He submits reports on a daily/weekly and monthly basis to Warehouse Supervisor, who monitor and supervises his daily activities. He /she is required to track obsolete and surplus goods, report low inventory items and follow the proper procedures and documentation in ordering. A key aspect of the role is maintaining the stock levels within the budget set by the business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Manage the entire inventory for all showrooms and will provide on each showroom adherence to stock count policies and procedures
• Develop accurate, consistent, and enhancements to the inventory reporting structure.
• Run a series of inventory reports on daily, weekly, or monthly basis and perform detailed analysis of item performance.
• Making inspection and follow-up for all warehouses
• Follow up all the entire stock movements and ensure complying with the official stock movement procedures.
• Responsible for monitoring the inventory cycle including the transactions for items and coordinate with sales manager and sales support department to implement the agreed master creation form and included all the necessary information where it applies, and forward same to the sales support.
• Review showroom receiving and preparing monthly reports with discrepancies.
• Confer with department managers to ensure coordination of stock control activities with various departments
• Assume responsibility for inventory accuracy, and daily, monthly, and annually inventory reporting.
• Prepare a report with all discrepancies and make the final adjustments accordingly.
• Prepare all the monthly inventory reports for the management according to the monthly stock transactions.
• Control and supervise any request to apply for inventory price change according to management’s approval and validity date, offers will be subject to expiry date which should be maintained by the stock controller.
• Control any inventory discrepancy and report to management with the inventory status on occurrence.
• Manage and control each and every stock hand over, stock count, stocktaking or any official physical inventory count once the application is received by HR department and approved by management and report to management with the results taking into consideration the time consumed to inform the staff and hold the responsibility.

Requirements

• Basics of accounting, inventory and stock
• Knowledge of inventory processes and procedures.
• Ability to prepare, document and maintain inventory and supply records and reports.
• Ability to schedule work to meet deadlines.
• Good Reporting Skills are manadatory

Training:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in accounting, business administration, finance, or a closely related field would be a plus.

Experience:
Five years of experience performing professional stock controlling work with reputable company.
