Job Purpose

Serves as an Admin Area resource in a specialized strategy and market analysis area. Provides feedback, counsel and guidance in his/her field of expertise and in the products delivered. Works under the direction of the Department Head or Principal Professional. Participates in analysis and strategy development that addresses short-term and long-term highly complex issues and problems as required by senior management. Mentors, trains, and develops others.

Responsibilities

DUTY1 / effort % (015)
Provides foremost advice and guidance on complex planning and analytical problems to senior planning personnel throughout the Company and to Executive Management. Maximizes the company's operation with care and judgement of the best interest of the company and Saudi Arab Government.

DUTY2 / effort % (015)
Guides and directs the work of task-forces assigned to specific planning/analysis problems.

DUTY3 / effort % (015)
Prepares and presents plans, analyses, interpretations, conclusions and recommendations to management and other Company personnel. Management's decisions are frequently made on the basis of analyses for which the incumbent is solely responsible. Delivers training, seminars and speaks at conferences.

DUTY4 / effort % (015)
Provides data, studies, arguments and other materials to be used in discussions with internal and external stakeholders. Participates as requested. Develops detailed macroeconomic analysis and country specific risk assessments. Company recognized spokesman/consultant on planning/analysis matters.

DUTY5 / effort % (010)
Prepares summaries and analyses of capital programs, operating expenditures, manpower levels, business plans, and operating activities company-wide. Prepares sections of the Business Plan which relate to the economic and business environment and worldwide energy supply/demand outlook and analysis.

DUTY6 / effort % (010)
Originates reviews and special projects within sphere of planning/analytical expertise to identify potential problems and opportunities and appropriate actions. Prepares special studies and analyses as required, for the Corporate and Executive management.

DUTY7 / effort % (010)
Originates and directs studies and investigations into planning and analytical methods and procedures to improve existing techniques of planning and analysis.

DUTY8 / effort % (010)
Originates, organizes, mobilizes, supervises and evaluates outside consultants retained to solve specific Company problems as the need arises. In all such jobs, incumbent acts as the contract administrator and is responsible for seeing that the job is completed.
