Job Purpose

Provide departmental expertise in a specialized area with strategy and market analysis Focused on developing expertise in a specialized area to support departmental needs. Works under the direction of the group leader and/or department head. Participates in analysis and strategy development that addresses short-term and long-term highly complex issues and problems as required by senior management. Mentors, trains, and develops others.

Responsibilities

DUTY1 / effort % (015)
• Prepares and presents plans, analyses, interpretations, conclusions and recommendations to
• Management and others on a broad range of problems as they arise.
• Management's recommendations and decisions are frequently made on the basis of analyses for which the incumbent is solely responsible.

DUTY2 / effort % (015)
• Provides expert advice and guidance on complex planning and analysis problems to senior planning and analytical personnel and to Executive Management.
• Maximizes the company's operation with care and judgement for the best interest of the company and Saudi Arab Government.

DUTY3 / effort % (015)
• Provides data, studies, arguments and other materials to be used in discussions with internal and external stakeholders. Participates in such discussions when requested.
• Regularly monitors the development of existing and emerging technologies to forecast their viability and progress over time.

DUTY4 / effort % (015)
• Prepares applicable sections of the Business Plan, relating to international and local economic and business environment and worldwide energy supply/demand outlook and analysis.
• Designs and manages special projects or studies related to planning and analysis functions and areas of expertise.

DUTY5 / effort % (010)
• Prepares summaries and analyses of Capital Programs, operating expenditures manpower levels, business plans, and operating activities, both company wide and for individual organizations within the Company.

DUTY6 / effort % (010)
• Acts as ARAMCO's representative with internal and external stakeholders, such as other companies, Aramco affiliates and government agencies.
• Mentors young professionals to develop their analytical and research skills and recommends development to progress their development.

DUTY7 / effort % (010)
• Originates, organizes and implements management agreed studies and investigations into planning and analytical methods and procedures and reviews methods and procedures in area of expertise regularly to develop better techniques of analysis.

DUTY8 / effort % (010)
• Organizes, mobilizes, supervises and evaluates outside consultants for solving specific Company problems as the need arises. In all such jobs, incumbent acts as the contract administrator and is responsible for seeing that the job is completed.
