Job description / Role
Bank is looking for one SOC Supervisor with minimum 9 years of experience supervising SOC. The Supervisor will be responsible to oversee, and plan Monitoring/ Incident operations and team provided by vendor. Responsibilities include to, mentor, and lead a team of SOC analysts providing security-monitoring services. The position will report to the SOC Manager. Supervisor will be the main point of contact with monitoring team and vendor. Supervisor will help identify, assess and coordinate communication and respond to security related incidents and crisis management issues.
• Manage team of provided by Vendor and plan improvements in Required Skillsets.
• Coordinate with all team members to ensure the SOC is functionally staffed at all times
• Analyze the security incidents and provide timely resolution to the respective stake holders
• Prepares operational documentation for operational teams in use of security solutions
• Technical Writing Abilities to prepare new or enhance existing documents
• Handling escalations and work as Tier 3 analyst for remediation of Security Incidents
• Review Security Controls logs/ alerts, findings, and perform network analysis for malicious activities
Requirements
• Handling Vulnerability Management and co- ordinate with various stake holders and help them in the remediation
• Train resources on new process and provide regular updates
• Identify and assist SOC Manager in improving Employee engagement
• Manage Managed Security Services and update SOC Manager with activities and achieve milestones in timely manner
• Prior knowledge of Secure works and Carbon black Solutions
