WSP is looking for a Sustainability Manager to support our ongoing project in NEOM, Saudi Arabia.

Your new role, what's involved?
* Provide technical inputs within Environmental (and Social) Impact Assessments, CEMPs, EMS and other environmental-related documentation
* Coordinate with subconsultants where necessary and undertake baseline surveys for inputs into EIAs and monitoring
* Develop/Contribute to the Environmental Management program including completion of site surveys and reporting against site/program goals on same.
* Provide input for performance indicators, and ensure follow-up
* Work with Procurement teams in terms of requirements of Sustainable procurement policies.
* Ensure that all environmental permitting requirements are achieved during design and construction phases and that relevant sustainability requirements are implemented
* Have a good understanding of environmental management plans and systems and how they are implemented on a practical level
* Assess environmental performance on projects at various stages of the project lifecycle
* Demonstrate reasonable commercial acumen, and prepare and contribute to proposals
* Provide detailed and technically accurate reports to the site on the program to support budget decisions and or responses from technical to highlighted items.?
* Technical writing to prepare deliverables and monitoring documents for a variety of stakeholders
* Ensure the progression of my professional development, through involvement in different types of projects, mentoring and internal/external support and training where necessary
* Coordinate with necessary internal and external stakeholders to support the successful delivery of projects as appropriate within the environmental scope

Requirements

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* BSc and MSc degree level qualified in a relevant environmental discipline or engineering discipline
* Previous experience in coral, reef, or marine projects is advantageous.
* Membership of a relevant professional body (i.e. IEMA or equivalent) and preferably chartered status
* Over 10 years of previous experience working in environmental consulting
* Experience working in an international consultancy
* Significant experience in managing large complex environmental projects
* Ability to work across multiple disciplines and a flexible mindset to working
* Experience in providing technical alternatives and solutions to technical clarifications and design solutions to the clients
* Significant proofing, editing and report collation experience
* Excellent written English and verbal communication, presentation and organisational skills
* Robust project management, time management and financial management skills
* Collaborative mindset and outcome-driven working method
* Leadership and ability to take ultimate ownership of projects
